Braudog (3574), Dayton, Ohio, USA Apr 24, 2008 Bottle: Poured very light in color, bright golden, even. Not until the bottom of the bottle is out do you get a bit of yeasty swirl. The head is initially fizzy, but generally thin and uninspiring. The aroma is yeasty and fruity, swirly even. This settles into a musty swilly looking thing. This drinks like an American wheat, gristy, yet fruity. Definitely sedimented. If you like your beers with residual yeasty stuff, go for it. (#3434 (cool number), 4/24/2008)

Legacy has a fairly solid and affordable witbier on their hands. A little underrated I think this gets a few more points for the low price. It might not set the world on fire but it does make a good daily drinker.
Aroma / Appearance - Transparent and carbonated the liquid was the color of dried grass. Yeast, hay, and a bit dry (like champagne) it borders on being as sour as a Berliner Weiss.
Flavor / Palate - Straw, honey, and hay make it smooth and drinkable. A yeasty finish caps a well balanced light experience. Banana and seed in the finish linger on the throat. This falls into the lawnmower beer camp. ucusty (1664), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Feb 27, 2009 Pale & hazy gold pour. White head and thin spotty lace. Spice and citrus on the nose. Overly floral flavor with a definite twist citrus and spice. Birdiebeagle (626), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 6, 2009 Bottle Pours a yellowish gold with a decent white head. Has a decent lacing. Good citrus aroma, almost flowery. Taste is good. You can definately taste the citrus. Not much of an aftertaste. A good refreshing beer. GMCC2181 (755), Bear, Delaware, USA Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Light yellow, not much head for a witbier. Aroma of sweet banana, a little lemon orangish. Taste was better then expected. Nice amount of spices, banana, lemon and touch of orange peel. As most witbiers its light and easy to drink. guzzler67 (1240), Hanover, Maryland, USA Oct 30, 2008 Hazy, yellow/gold appearance with an average size head and nice lacing. Yeasty, spicy aroma. Tart taste is spicy, wheaty, citrusy with lemon zest. Light-to-medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. Crisp, dry, lingering finish. Dandman629 (28), Ashburn, Virginia, USA Oct 11, 2008 Nice citrusy smooth wit beer. The smell of this beer is very unique with hints of orange/lemon citrus. The palate is very smooth, I wouldnt say silky and creamy like the description states. The taste if ver refreshing, you can really smell and taste the spices in every sip. SoberCajun (39), Somerville, Massachusetts, USA Sep 2, 2008 Pours hazy light orange with white head from bottle. Slight hoppy flower aroma. Citrusy flavor but a bit too sour and flat. Definitely not very refined or balanced. kennydiaz (170), staten island, New York, USA Aug 19, 2008 IT HAD A FLOWERED AROMA WITH A CLOUDED BLONDE COLOR. A VARIED CITRUS FLAVOR. A MEDIUM RANGE BEER BETTER THAN MOST.
