Bottled, LCRBM. Aroma of cookie and herbal hops. Redish brown color, beige head, fair lace. Sweet, bitter, herbal, fruity, sticky. All a barleywine needs but nothing exceptional.

[2nd Low Countries RateBeer meeting] Aroma of cookies, butter and caramel malts. Clear, amber coloured with not much lacing. Taste is sweet. Caramel malts in it and some fruitiness.

kp’s Fest of 26 Pours a clear, deep, amber. The aroma is complex, caramel malt and dried fruit. Smooth sweet start, with a good supportive bitterness. The bitterness comes in at the back, and remains through the finish. The body is a bit thin, but overall this is an acceptable Barleywine.

06 a nice amber pour with a lite lacing. An aroma of sweet fruit. A nice sweet, fruity, warm drink with some bitter that lingers. A smooth even palate. A well balanced beer that is just a wisp away from being excellent.

A dark orange appearance. An apricot, orange, and spicy aroma. The flavor is mainly oranges with a hot spice presence. Some alcohol shows through. The mouthfeel is creamy. Good one

From bomber. Pours a cloudy brown with hints of orange. No head, but some lacing. Nose is citrusy sweet with caramel and orange, prunes, cherries. Flavor follows and is also citrusy sweet with a nice bitter finish. Solid malt backbone, nicely balanced. Palate is sticky, but yummy.

2006 bomber. Pours a golden orange with brown highlights. Aroma is wonderful and very sweet, with sugar, perhaps some cherries, plums, cinamonn and some caramel. Flavor is not malty like most barleywines, just a bit of hop bitterness in the finish. Caramel, slight hints of chocolate, some roasted brown sugar, and just an overall sweetness. One of the best BW’s I’ve had.

2006 Vintage: Poured a dark amber color with a medium beige head. Sweet and fruity malt aroma with notes of cherries and chocolate. Light alcohol in the nose. this smell right on for an English BW. Sweet fruity malty flavor. Some warmth but you don’t taste the alcohol. Not hot. Well done. The best beer I have had from them.
