Commercial Description:
The is a pretty beer almost an amber/brown color. A well balanced beer that is great for the summer months. Unlike the porter, this is the beer that put them on the map.

Brown with medium head. Smell of nuts and malt. Great flavor of nuts and malt on the end. Textured more than other brown beers.

22 oz bottle...poured in an English pint glass - nice head, subsided quickly...a tasty brown ale - nowhere near the chewiness of a Newcastle (is that even a brown ale??) but a nice drink...hops not very strong, but, then again, I mostly drink IPAs...

Bottle; poured a brownish color with small to medium creamy head. Aroma was light; caramel and nuts. Not a big fan of the style and this is version is nothing special. Flavor of caramel, chocolate and not much else. Mouthfeel was a little off. Expected a bit more from them.

A pretty good beer. It has a balanced hop and malty aroma. The flavor begins with a sharp note of hops and morphs into maltiness with a note of yeast. The mouthfeel is the slightest bit syrupy, which I’m not a fan of, but it’s not too prominent.

Brown. Slightly sweet. Smooth, medium body. Just a solid beer nothing special.

Looks like very dilute cola, with a ringing very small white head. Lightly sweet stonefruit and toast aroma. Almost comes off as an amber ale - a good bit of bittering, some sulphur. Body somehow reminds me of styrofoam - simultaneously substantial and vacant. Light vanilla spiciness. A little tangy in the finish.

Had this one on tap down at Glory Days. Murky brown color with a nose of caramel and mild medium acidic hops. This one was a little over carbonated, but it really had a great maltiness to it. It had a choco caramel taste with a mild burntness to it. I was really impressed.
