Commercial Description:
The is a pretty beer almost an amber/brown color. A well balanced beer that is great for the summer months. Unlike the porter, this is the beer that put them on the map.

From the brewpub at the 12th aniversary party. Hazy brown color with a thin white head. Light molassas aroma. Flavor of sweet malts with hints of caramel.

Awesome brown body with a light white head. Clean aroma with some hops. Caramel taste with carbonation, very clean ending.

Courtesy of Numenor Aroma is very fruity with apple dominating and notes of a more sugary sweetness. Red/brown body holds a world champion fader of a head that leaves tiny white slick. Lots of caramel malt, fruity apple and pear along with peantu skins and meatier nut notes. The flavor is spot on for the most part, but the alcohol is a touch more noticeable than expected for the style. Still a decent Brown.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with The_Beer_God (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy brownish color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of nuts, caramel, and some toasted malts. Tastes of stronger caramel, nuts, and some orange. Starts of sweet and ends in a light hop and almost tart finish.

22 oz bottle. The beer pours a Red-Brown color, light tan head. Roasted, nutty, and sweet aroma. Slightly caramel and brown malty flavor. Hyped up, but quite enjoyable.

Poured a medium brown with a tan head. Aroma was a sweet, nutty nose. Flavor consisted of caramel, malts, and light brown sugar.

I get the feeling that this beer was supposed to be how it was. However, I liked it quite a bit as it was and will rate it accordingly. A cloudy light mahoghany with voluminous yet diminishing head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, mild acidity, and cherries. Yes, cherries. Taste distinctly fruity and sour with an ending toffee sweetness and cherry-doughy aftertaste. Like a brown mixed with a flemish sour and achieving a juicy tart-sweet balance. Very nice.

Deep reddish-brown color, generous tan head. Aroma is strong, exclusively caramel. Taste is sweet, balanced malts and hops, caramel, hint of honey and something else I can’t figure out. Good mouthfeel, medium-bodied, slick, frothy. I really like this beer.
