on tap-pours a thick rich light brown head and deep red/mahogany color. Aroma is dark fruit-cherry, dark malt-molasses. Taste is dark fruit-cherry/raisin/plum/prune, vinuous, dark malt-molasses, some bitter/acidic, alcohol. Nicely done and potent, not quite my taste. After warming up, smoother, mellower, richer, nice. Occasional.

Brown. Sweet malty aroma that matches the taste. Good filing body. Creamy with nutty hints. Smooth and taste lingers well.

Found out about this by sheer accident when I wandered onto the web site to look up the King James. Maniac joined me for a pint. Straight up black in appearance with a nice tan head, quite attractive. Aroma was caramel with a faint hint of smoke. Flavor was more caramel, molasses, a touch more smoke, and the faintest tinge of black cherry. Surprisingly good, quite smooth bodied.

Dark black body with a medium creamy light brown head. Sweet caramel and molassas aroma. Rich chocolate, molassas and caramel flavor.
