Glass still had leftover head caked on after a few hours. :) Tastes of small hops, but I didn’t get a taste of an IPA. No citrus backbone, no spices, kind of blah - of this is indeed an IPA. Might have to sample this one again. BrewmeisterEd (59), USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 20, 2007 Big hoppy flavor. Clear gold. Lemon pith finish. Stongly bitter, lightly sweet, lightly tart. Pizza dough over hops and maltin the aroma. Perhaps I’m smelling something from the kitchen. Different and deft, and though not the most balanced brew it has good hallmarkes. Some nuttiness in the finish. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Clear amber color with a medium off white head. Tastes of dandelion, orange, honey, and caramel.. Grass and hop finish. Great tasting beer, but alcohol is bit too noticeable. Poured out a clear orangish color, with a sticky white head. Aromas are of grapefruit, some apricots also, followed by sweet malts. Flavors are of malts, hops, slight alcohol burn.
Decent body, thick & rich. Good beer overall. ChainGangGuy (2568), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 16, 2007 Appearance: Pours a golden body with a foamy, creamy white head.
Smell: Oh dear, here we go again... an aroma of butter and soiled socks.
Taste: The flavor passes back and forth between greasy butter and abandoned cheese. Sure, there’s hops. Yes, there’s light caramel malts. It just not worth putting up with all that unpleasantness to get to it.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Slight stickiness to the mouthfeel.
Drinkability: Another utter failure from this brewery. I have yet to come across a bottle from Legend that wasn’t a totally spoiled disaster! unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA
