Draught at Brewery. Thin white head with an aroma of the floral hops. There is a small hint of citrus while the bitterness of the hops get ya at the end. One of legend’s better beers

Draught at Legends. yellow with small head. Aroma is malty and sweet with floral hops, also. hop flavor is also more floral than citrus with some good malt backbone. A little to sweet overall ending long and bitter. Not really dry. A lacier brew.

Pours copper with a white head. Smells perfumy with some bitter citrus and resiny hints. Tastes citrussy and floral with a dry bitter finish.

Better than average pale. amber pour with a big fluffy head that stays around. Aroma is citrus and bread. Nicely balanced with some sweet malt up front and hop bitterness at the end. Very dry finish.

Bomber brought from Charlottesville by Josh - Thanks! Medium amber color with a very slight white head. Aroma is mostly floral/citric hop. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is floral hop, so it’s not all that bitter. Finish is dryish, smooth and a bit oily. Leaves bitterness around the tongue edges. Certainly not your typical NW hophead IPA, but I think there’s more hop in here than it’s getting credit for. Otherwise I think I’d be getting a lot stronger dose of malt.

On tap @ the Brewpub-Clear orange color w/a slight head. Citrus hop aroma. Thought this was pretty bland for an IPA, had some hops to it but nothing to write home about. Maybe some grass & grain thrown in, but it just didn’t do a whole lot for me. Not bad, just blah! Short hop finish.

Date: 08/02/08, bomber courtesy of Steve E., and shared with him, Celtic Brew, and Doboy

Aroma - Sweet, fruity aroma, some bubblegum, and citrus

Appearance - Clear gold with solid creamy head and slippery lace

Flavor - Sweet, fruity entry that is lasting with drying bitterness at the finish

Palate - Medium body and carboation, smooth, lightly dry

Overall - Smooth, drinkable, but very subtle and undersated for an IPA

Note that this bottle was kept cold andhandled properly, thanks to Steve’s wife! Steve, CelticBrew and DrBayern shared this with me. Presents a nice, big white head that lasts. It has a nice golden, clear appearance. It has a light sweet aroma. The mouthfeel is good, and the taste is malty with just the right amount of sweetness.
