Aroma is malty and sweet with floral hops, also. hop flavor is also more floral than citrus with some good malt backbone. A little to sweet overall ending long and bitter. Not really dry. A lacier brew. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 7, 2009 Bomber brought from Charlottesville by Josh - Thanks! Medium amber color with a very slight white head. Aroma is mostly floral/citric hop. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is floral hop, so it’s not all that bitter. Finish is dryish, smooth and a bit oily. Leaves bitterness around the tongue edges. Certainly not your typical NW hophead IPA, but I think there’s more hop in here than it’s getting credit for. Otherwise I think I’d be getting a lot stronger dose of malt. beachbum25 (805), Powellville, Maryland, USA

Thought this was pretty bland for an IPA, had some hops to it but nothing to write home about. Maybe some grass & grain thrown in, but it just didn’t do a whole lot for me. Not bad, just blah! Short hop finish. DrBayern (1137), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 4, 2008 Note that this bottle was kept cold andhandled properly, thanks to Steve’s wife! Steve, CelticBrew and DrBayern shared this with me. Presents a nice, big white head that lasts. It has a nice golden, clear appearance. It has a light sweet aroma. The mouthfeel is good, and the taste is malty with just the right amount of sweetness.
