Kinz (1916), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA May 2, 2004 Pretty cool experiment, one that I had always wondered about trying as a homebrewer but never got around to. Medium yellow, slight haze, fizzy dying head. Aroma of cloves, touch of herbs. Flavor is very spicy, cloves, banana, bubblegum. Full bodied too, but this is a yeast show here. Interesting and good. crzybob77 (519), Richmond, Virginia, USA Apr 7, 2004 Updated: Apr 12, 2004A very tasty beer with a smooth and sweet flavor. One of the best I have had from legends. The_Beer_God (2857), Newport News, Virginia, USA Mar 15, 2004 Pours amber with a vey small white head. Nose is very hefeweizen like. There is a strong aroma of banana, yeast and lighter spices. Almost smells like an Aventinus, to me. The taste is very much like the aroma. More banana and extra fruit, some spices, and yeast. There's a slight taste of grains as well. Nice twist on a standard hefeweizen. Very smooth body and pleasant finish. Kudos to Legend!
