(22oz bottle) Crystal clear copper body topped by a medium, creamy beige head that diminishes but never leaves, nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, pineapple/pine, some grapefruit, caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, pine, caramel, some grapefruit. Medium body with lots of resin.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with The_Beer_God (thanks!). Poured a darker copper color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus, biscuit, pine, somewhat spicy and grapefruit. Tastes of oranges, caramel, with a spicy and somewhat grapefruit finish. Body a little on the thin side.

on tap-pours a foamy light tan head and amber color. Aroma is citrus hops, sweet. Taste is citrus hops, sweet, faint medium malt. Good, but taste not quite up to aroma. OK carbonation/effervescence.

Pours a transparent dark copper bronze with a frothy, well-lacing off-white head. Nice aroma of fresh piny hops and toasty dark caramel malt. Body starts slightly oily and mildly sweet with some earthy flavor hops and mild butterscotch diacetyl. Has some lightly toasty sugary notes and a touch of tartness. If they’d use a diacetyl rest, this could be a very nice beer.

Bottle... This beer rocks!... Clear, deep amber ale with copper highlights. Small, frothy, beige head. Great retention. Fruity nose with a medley of mango, apricot, grapefruit pulp and a kiss of pine sap. Lots of grapefruit bitterness in the flavor. Full-bodied with an ultra-satiny mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Although the malt is heavy and impressive, the true backbone of this beer is the massive lupulin. Finishes bitter and grassy. Excellent, world class beer! No diacetyl in my bottle... not that it would bother me as I love butterscotch and butterd toast.

Pours rust/copper with an off white head. Smells of resin, spicy, floral. Tastes spicy and bitter with a resiny finish.

Thanks to jcwattsrugger. Deep amber with a thick fluffy white head. Aroma is a little bit nutty and sweet. There is a fairly prominent woody hop aroma along with a light tropical fruit aroma as well. Some light tangerine and a bit of herbal/spiciness. Soft bitterness over a lightly caramelly/toasty malt base. OK, but kind of underwhelming.
