Aroma of hops, hops, and more hops. Bright palate without the thick stickiness you get with a lot of Imperial IPAs; it makes it a better hot weather beer. Exceptionally well balanced for a 126 IBU beer. Good strong citrus taste with a pleasantly pungent bitterness and a crisp finish. Excellent. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Bottle... This beer rocks!... Cloudy amber ale with a mid-sized, white head and good retention. The aroma resembles that of peach cobbler... sliced peaches, brown sugar and a hint of butter. The flavor is moderately bitter with loads of peaches and a pinch of salt. Medium-bodied with an abrasive mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Lengthy, fruity, mildly bitter finish. All the balance I’ve grown to love from a malty Imperial IPA... with a surprise peach twist! Thanks, growler, for sharing your fresh bottle of this excellent, world-class beer! boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 2, 2007 Amber pour, average white head, good retention. A very cold pour reveals a solely fruity blend. Fresh squeezed mangos, tangerines and peaches dominate the nose, with a little apricot in the mix. Warmth gained, the true nature of the blend of malts and hops comes to light. Still heavily fruity, lopsided to a degree that hops seem to topple over the brim of the glass, but now pleasant caramel malt joins the parade. Alcohol is extremely well masked by so much vibrant fruit. The flavor has high but very pleasing bitterness with little astringency. Acidity is mild to medium. Sweetness is high too, almost cloying. Maltiness is once again understated, though now it’s at least persistent. The finish is overly sweet but otherwise very tasty. The mouthfeel is soft, syrupy, medium bodied with prickly high carbonation. I really enjoyed the hop profile in this. Overall, average. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Pours a slightly hazy orange, with almost no head. very light, white bubbles surround the edge of the glass. Huge peach aroma fills the air, mixed in with some hops, and a little grapefruit citrus. The taste was quite bitter as expected, a little dry, with alot of fruity peach and grapefruit flavors coming out. The hops were there too, a little floral in theri makeup. There was some spice in the finish mixed in with the hops and bitterness. I liked this one alot. Nicely balanced with a pleasant fruity character. KieferUGA (461), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 23, 2007 Deep amber coloured body with orange and ruby tints throughout. Nice tan head tops the beer perfectly. Aroma of perfectly fresh high a.a. hops citrus, alcohol, apricots and caster sugar. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong bitter hop flavour with caramel and dry malt throughout. Aftertaste nice and fresh - some hops linger, alcohol and malt there too. Overall, a really well made Imperial IPA-good flavour-not too sweet or too hoppy. Great to try - thanks Jon[r888710]!
