Commercial Description:
A big, crisp Ale that is hopped to the extreme. A Combination of Pale Ale, Bonlander Munich and Carapils Malts to which a very, very, generous amount of hops has been added gives a balanced 126 IBU beer.

not impressed. my first Legend Brew Beer. I think the word Imperial is used a little too loosely these days. I guess its supposed to mean its a little richer than a regular IPA. Well, I guess it is, more slippery mouthfeel, a fuller body, a lingering mellow aftertaste. The hops overwhelm everything else, of course, it is an IPA, but after the hops thingsettles down, it is a smooth and pleasurable drink.

Courtesy of jeffin7, RBSG 06. Clear, golden-orange hue. Light show of head around the edges. Big, sweet hoppy nose that fills the glass. Surprisingly light, sour, bitter mouthfeel - textured, but slightly unpleasant. Medium finish.

22oz. Dark amber color. Very hoppy, I mean woah, there are a lot of hops. Citrus aroma abounds.

Beautiful color, very nice golden-brown body with a light ivroy head that is slow to diminish. Nice aroma, piney with some nice malt accents. Excellent taste, spicey with some nice hop accents. The body isn’t thin like some IPA’s, rather it has a nice complexity. Hoppy ending, very enjoyable.

A mostly diminishing average frothy off-white head tops up a clear light orange body. Moderate lacing. No particles. Many small bubbles. Aroma presents malt being light biscuity while hops are heavy citrusy and resiny... Yeast character is moderate sweat. Also, there are excessive notes of band-aid and .herds in a strange way that was surely not meant to be. (at least, i hope!!) This tends to indicate that the bottle aged badly but we could detect signs of infection. Initial flavor is medium bitter while development develops band-aid surrounded earthiness. Still have those herbal evocations. Finish is short Light to medium body... oily texture... Lively carbonation...

From bottle. Pours a bright orange with almost no head. Nose has light citrus and a little pine. Same good hoppy flavor with a great palate and bitter finish.
