I was very malty and slighty dry but over all nothing too great about it. Very drinkable but not much else. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA

Here we go again, the infamous Legend diacytl note coming from the glass even before i put it to my nose. some spicy presences in there-haygrass and german hops. the flavors again are less diacytl than the aroma, but still, its there. some good spicy notes in the finish that cut through the diacytl. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 25, 2005 Golden body with a minimal, dusty head. Intense buttery nose. I would dip some lobster in this if I had some. Flavor is of butter and pale malt. Another bottle of bad beer from Legend. I’ve been very unimpressed and disappointed by the 3 samples I’ve had from this brewery.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 18, 2005 (22 oz bottle: Obtained in trade with jasonp, thanks Jason!) The aroma is quite musty, lightly hoppy, citrusy sour, but kind of chemical, like something I might buy at Home Depot. The flavor is fairly sour, very lemony, lightly hoppy, but lacking much, if any, maltiness or sweetness. Light-to-medium body with a well-carbonated palate. Pale golden, kind of yellow in color, fully clear in appearance, with a hectic, but massive display of rapidly rising carbonation bubbles. Off-white head builds an amusing top hat looking adornment atop a very large and bubbly head. Plenty of globs of foam are left on the glass. Second disappointing Legend beer in a row. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 6, 2005 Pours a clear bright golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of light caramel malt, some floral grassiness and noble hops. Starts lightly pale malty and dry with a touch of tartness before a crisp saaz-hoppy, dry finish. Very smooth and enjoyable, a nice pilsener. Thanks Kinz! Odeed (1677), Bakersfield, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 5, 2005 thanks to kinz (i think?) for this brew.the pils poured a semi-murky yellow with a nice white head.straw, wheat, and that "pale" pils smell all made up the aroma.i was actually very surprised at the tatse and mouthfeel.it wasnt light and watered down at all.the mouthfeel was medium, and the flavor was full of hay, wheat, malts, and hops.this is a very nice treat, and a great light brew. brentfeesh (1039), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 15, 2005 Pours golden with a white and fluffy lite head. Nice looking bubbles in there. Has a bit of a nutty aroma and possibly rubber, stinky. The immediate taste is sweet (marshmallow perhaps) and malty but moves to a toasted grain and a hop finish that is clean and lightly piney (nutshell also). Body is acceptable to the style. I found it better in many ways than a macro pils, but still not my favorite. TheBeerGod (3163), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2004 Bottled. Pours translucent gold with a medium frothy white head. Nose is lemony and grassy with lighter maltiness. Light bread notes as well. Taste is slightly bitter with grassy hops, more malt, sourdough bread and light citrus. Body is full and refreshing. Finishes with more citrus, but an odd rubbery note in amongst the grass and hops. Good beer nonetheless.
