| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 14, 2009 Looks and smells good, but taste leave something to be desired. It has a bitterness that isn’t a good bitter. Other than that, it is mostly just a standard beer. Meatmallet (126), Salem, Illinois, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 13, 2009 poured a dark caramel brown. Looked like it might be worth it. But no, tasted like a true Miller beer. weak, watery, and a waste. Had it at a beerfest. Nothing ventured - nothing gained. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 13, 2009 Bottle. Pours and looks just like that picture to the left. Do you really need a description? Didnt think so. Smell is nutty and malty smelling, much better smelling than that god awful fireside nut shit beer. Taste is sweet and somewhat fruity tasting. Plenty of malts for this one too. Interesting beer, easy to session, but at 6.99 a sixer I am going to go for something else. Still, an interesting beer. Scubatrip (388), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 10, 2009 On tap, gotta say this was a rather disappointing selection from Leine’s. No nose, malty but bland taste. Had that cheap beer aftertaste that I would normally only attribute to a 70s of 80s local-macrobrew. You know, a microbrewery but not a craft brewery. I usually like a good bock, but I’d advise going with another option from Leinenkugels Strykzone (1505), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 10, 2009 Pours a thin dark brown with red. Small light tan head that leaves some thin lacing. Aroma is smoke and caramel. Flavor offers roasted notes, caramel, cookie dough, smoke, and faint hops. Feel is just a bit more substantial than medium. Just an average beer at best. kiefdog (1651), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 8, 2009 12oz bottle from Willow Bend Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a dark reddish brown color with a massive foamy tan head that settles slowly. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of sour malty funk, honey, citrus peel, honey, caramel, toasted sugar, some light spice. Flavor is generally light overall with notes of malt, honey, caramel, hints of chocolate and ripe dark fruit. Generally light to medium body with light malty finish.
