pour from a bottle, dark red-brown in color with a thick white head. Smells of malt caramel and chocolate and the flavors go along with it.

Reddish brown in color. Malty aroma which changes to an awesome coffee & cream aroma as it warms up in the glass. Toasty malt in flavor. Overall this really surprised me. One of the better bocks I’ve tasted. I hope it wasn’t just a passing fancy at my grocery store and it becomes a permanent option for purchase because I’m buying more...

Bottle poured to glass. Sweet, malty, biscuit aroma. Copper with a hint of brown in the color with and off white to tanish head. Caramel and roasted malt flavor with a creamy tingly mouthfeel. Enjoyable, however I really did prefer their dopplebock "Big Butt" over this lighter replacement.

12 oz bottle. Pours a dark purple-hued mahogany with small beige head. The aroma is quite sweet with burnt caramel, cocoa, toffee, and honey, along with some wood and nut hints. The flavor is milk chocolate, wood, and burnt sugar. The richness is compromised by a thin, tinny carbonic acidity that lends to a drier finish with an ashy sour edge. Drinkable but not great.

Not suprised by the turn out of this Leine’s brew. Pours a dark but clear brown colour with a small almond coloured head. Aroma is sort of syrupy, maple syrup in fact, slightly toasty with caramel and tofee on the nose. Taste is for the most part weak, mouthfeel is weak. Otherwise, decent beer overall.

Bottle. Pours dark red, light brown head. Light flavours, slightly bitter finish. Not one of Leinenkugel’s better offerings.

Pours a dark ruby hue with medium tan head. Very drinkable with flavors of malt, caramel, and chocolate. Overall, it is a lttle weaker in taste than I would prefer but a decent beer.
