| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 7, 2009 Lightly hazy reddish amber in color with a medium off white head. Aroma is somewhat nutty, with light chocolate suggestions, malt is a bit fuzzy. Taste is malty with some caramel, light chocolate, light munich malt, but it’s all somewhat muddled, somewhat fuzzy/dusty, light touches of metal, and the body is thin. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 2, 2009 The pour is a deep mahogany with a medium tan head. The aroma is caramel malts. The beer is highly carbonated, and thin bodied. The flavor is more bitter then sweat caramel or roasted malts. The hps are light and over powered by the malts. Hey, I tried it.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Pours clear amber with deep rose hues and tan head. The aroma is mild in strength emitting a bit of very dark fruity esters and caramel and little else. The taste has a bit of roasted dryness to start with a dash of caramel and then moving into not so rich dark fruity esters. It ends with lingering brown sugar, dark fruit and a touch of roastiness. wmubronco1992 (188), Coldwater, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 24, 2009 Bottle. Dark copper color. Large off white head with creamy appearance. Good lacing. Tastes of roast and malt. Low carbonation. Smooth & creamy texture. Brewer is on the right track, but there is a definite watered down taste so hard to take this too seriously. However overall a pleasant beer. garthicus (1309), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2009 Appearance: Ruby red with a small white head. Aroma: Toast, malt, cookies, grass, hard water, wheat and yeast. Flavour: Toast again, sweet with malt, grain and a rather ’dusty’ element with a honey and peat finish. Not bad. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Bottle (12oz). Shared by garthicus with me and blankboy. Clear bright ruby with a smallish creamy off-white head. Nutty, sweet, vaguely herbal. Taste - same, grassy, somewhat harsh, almost dirty. Chewy, somewhat still, very malty, the aftertaste isn’t bad at all. esjaygee (1578), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Clear copper with a thin tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, bready malts and dough. Taste of toasted malt, spent grain and not much else. Fun adjective like fizzy, cola-like, watery and oily come to mind with this one. Not very good. To think two years ago I probably would have called this my favorite brewery and now I’m so glad it the furthest thing from it. Beerdedone (1885), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA
