The pour was a dingy, dark copper color with a nice off-white head that produced good lacing. The aroma was roasty malts and caramel with a bit of dry bakers chocolate. The flavor was roasted caramel malts, some spice and a bit of hops. The mouthfeel was thin and dry. Farily drinkable and pretty forgettable.

12oz bottle 3/29/09-Pours an amberish brown with a big off white head. Aroma of roasted malt and caramel. The flavor was the same with a little chocolate thrown in. This medium bodied brew was a nice tasting bock. Well balanced.

Bottle courtesy of unclemike. Sweet aroma and some spice ginger in the nmix. Mahagony body when held to light with good beige head. Flavor was sweet sticky fruits and bythe finish the dried fruits were present and some what dried out the palate. Different brew tio say the least.

Pours a dark clear bronze with two fingers of frothy beige head that diminishes leaving behind patchy lace. The nose is of dark caramel and what I could best describe as a cocoa or chocolaty bread dough note. Light-bodied and fairly slick until the finish where it has a distinctive tongue-drying effect. Sweet, dark (almost burnt) caramel malt with just a hint of fruity hops at the finish. I wasn’t expecting a lot from this beer, but overall, it’s a fairly decent bock.

This beer has almost no flavor! Appearance is decent with an amber color with an off white head, but would not reccomend it.

(12oz bottle) Small, creamy beige head atop clear mahogany body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, cherry/anise, light cinnamon, fig. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, roast, some raisin, light smoke. Watery light-medium body.

(Bottle courtesy of Headbanger) - Color is a deep amber with mellow carbonation and a thin tight tan head. Aroma is a light roasted malt scent. Taste is sweet and toasted. Starting with a lighter medium body it goes down crisp and fizzy. Finish is a roasted malt flavor that gives a touch of smoke and a hint of chocolate. After taste is a little bitter with a whisky like taste. This is an odd Bock, its not bad but the flavors seem to clash a little.
