(Bottle (stamped "020710") from Global Beverage) Pours clear dark tea-colored brown with two solid fingers of tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate. Mouthfeel fairly smooth although a bit fizzy, also a bit thin. Actually not much texture here perhaps due to alot of filtering. Flavor of chocolate with perhaps a nutty quality. Also light hints of tea. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a clear, deeper amber with a modest off-white head that has little retention and no lacing. Aroma is caramel, wheat toast, biscuit. Taste is similar: sweet caramel with some roast, rye malt notes. Really surprising actually. Not bad.

This beer looks nice when poured a dark reddish-brown that you can see through. Two finger frothy off white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, bread, roasty, slight hint of chocolate. Taste is slightly sweet and malty, although I agree with most that it’s somewhat light for a bock. Has very thin mouthfeel, just a little bit fizzy. Finish is slightly bitter. One of the better Leinie’s I’ve tried.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown with a nice head. The aroma was burnt malts and nuts. The flavor was very malty, roasty and toasty. Overall, not bad for where it comes from but it is missing some Bock characteristics.

Somewhat a lighter bock, but still a nice malty roasted nut flavor....not a typical bock, liike other Lienies, the names of the beer doesn’t mean it tastes like what is says. Octoberfest, is another good beer, but doesn’t really taste like a Marzen. Fireside nut brown is next in my fridge, im sure it will taste fine, but maybe not a nut brown?

!2 oz bottle This is my favorite Leinenkugles.. so far. It pours Reddish brown. with a cream white head. Aroma is strong roasted malt. Some caramel and yeast. Flavor is Same. Strong malt, caramel, sugars, dark fruit. and other flavors you find in most bocks. Still this is a light bock. Still a pretty good . I drink alot of this beer.

Slightly on the sweeter side. A little roasted malts and sweet caramel. Light with a toasted malt. A hint of chocolate.
