Commercial Description:
Leine's Amber Light is a new kind of light beer - a light beer with color and flavor. Brewed with 2-Row Pale brewer's malt, Munich and Carmel malt for a lightly flavored body. These barley malts also give Leine's Amber Light its beautiful amber color. A light hopping with Cascade and Cluster hops provides a well-balanced, smooth, light flavor and drinkable finish.

Clear light copper color. Fizzy off-white head. Pale grainy corn malts. Some sweet hop aroma too. Tart and stale malty hop taste. Blah.

Pours a pale golden yellow with decent head that fades quickly. This aroma of weak hops and malt. Thin body with a light crisp taste of caramel accents and malt with a clean finish.

Pour is light golden, with minimal fizzy white head. Nose and flavor are both of weak hops and malts. A bit of tart fruit with a tangy aftertaste leaves you wanting more.

For a light it is not that bad however this still has that kind of light lager kind of funk that I just cant really get into. Soft kind of creamy. Barely drinkable.

For a light beer, this is really impressive stuff. Pours a deep amber, no pisswater yellow here. Nice malty nose, a bit thin, but a bit peaty, some caramel, light hops. Actual real maltiness in flavor, caramel and some peat, actual depth and earthiness. Palate is actually somewhat rich, a mite too fizzy, but still understated for a light beer. I would drink this one again, an extreme rarity for light beers.

12oz bottle - Poured a light amber color with a short white head that didn’t stay long. Aroma was malty caramel and slight hops. Flavor was a nice dough, caramel malt mix. Pretty tasty actually for a light beer. Palate is light bodied and smooth drinking. Caramel aftertaste makes you come back for another sip. At 110 calories this is a nice choice for someone wanting taste and weight loss.

Malty aroma with slight hints of sweet caramel. Body was amber with a head that dissipated rather quickly. Flavor was not much different than Miller light. Light caramel aftertaste on the palate. If it is on sale and need swill would recommend for that
