Commercial Description:
Leine's Amber Light is a new kind of light beer - a light beer with color and flavor. Brewed with 2-Row Pale brewer's malt, Munich and Carmel malt for a lightly flavored body. These barley malts also give Leine's Amber Light its beautiful amber color. A light hopping with Cascade and Cluster hops provides a well-balanced, smooth, light flavor and drinkable finish.

Bottle poured coper with a small head and good carbonation. Aroma is malty. Light watery body with weak malt flavor and metalic finish.

For a light beer this has alot of flavor. Decent carbonation and like I said earlier this is a light beer with flavor.

Light amber color with a quickly dissapating head. The aroma is bread with some carrots. The taste is light bread and honey. There are some notes of carrots with tomatoes. A strange combination. This could be better with more body and hops. Decent for a light beer, but the slightly acidic aftertaste bugs me.

This is way better than most low-carb beers I’ve had. Some sweet notes in the flavor - caramel, maybe. I don’t know that I’d pay for a six-pack of this, but it’s a good light beer.

I tried this in an impromtu comparison taste test at a party I was attending. It put Coors Light, Bud Light, Miller Lite and Busch Light to shame. A loyal Miller Lite drinker fell in love with it. Would I spend money on it? Only if my wife wanted to drink it.

Leinenkugals makes some decent beers but this really isn’t one if them, at least not for me. there was a hint of flavor here but quite watered down. at least it was free and worth a try.

For a regular beer, this is quite average but for a light, it’s pretty good. Has an amber color to it. There is some actual caramel malt flavors in there, but some of the usual "light beer taste" does end up appearing. One of the better light beers.
