| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Nov 1, 2004 Appearance: mislabeled...it’s not merely a "light amber" it’s a terribly faded peach, nothing close to amber...maybe they meant a light beer with an "amber" taste? That’s a touch closer to the truth..head’s decent, but disappears..
Aroma: ack! What did I do to deserve this? It’s the typical skunky lager smell you always find in a Leinie’s, but his one is particularly sharp, distinctly corny and unpleasant..probably Heaven to some, who think beer shouldn’t be better than this...
Taste: yikes! Actually not that awful at first, just terribly absent...wait, there’s a touch of malty sweetness in there...but no finish, and no character.
Actually, I must confess that this has just enough personality to rise above the usual lite beer and please those sort of consumers...
...and then it turns on you, hot, sharp, and punishing, stinging my palate with every sip!
If you absolutely need a "lite", pay an extra buck for Sam Adams’ offering.

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 5/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Oct 25, 2004 Medium copper/amber hue with a nice poofy head. The aroma is of sour grapes, a real turnoff. The flavor is also sour ... and really light, damn near cidery. Me no likey. DrunkDad (12), Minnesota, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 24, 2004 Enough barley malt flavor comes through to give it a better than average light beer taste. Dry and slightly gritty finish. JoeM500 (1876), Chicago (little italy), Illinois, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 21, 2004 Much too yellowy to call an amber, this miller pass-off seems to be an american standard with a pricier actual malt thrown in, somewhat caramelly and watery thin, sour and gritty after it warms. I pushed down a half bottle of this... Metalhead (572), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 16, 2004 Not bad. Light copper color, hint of malt in both taste and aroma. Obviously watery but better than most mass market lights. Another Football season so you can piss alot beer. 00cobraR (1103), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
