Commercial Description:
Leine's Amber Light is a new kind of light beer - a light beer with color and flavor. Brewed with 2-Row Pale brewer's malt, Munich and Carmel malt for a lightly flavored body. These barley malts also give Leine's Amber Light its beautiful amber color. A light hopping with Cascade and Cluster hops provides a well-balanced, smooth, light flavor and drinkable finish.

pours an amber color with a thin head that dissipates quickly. Tastes like an amber with a bit of hops. A decent amber beer at a cheap price.

Bottle. Small sized white head that was creamy and smooth with fine-medium sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. Carbonation, transparent and a yellow-gold hue. Malty and lightly hoppy aroma. Malty and mildly hoppy flavor. Smooth palate. Light bodied beer with sparse lacing.

This bottled brew poured a large sized head of fine to medium sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a poor lacing. The body was a softly carbonated transparent light orange color and the aroma was mildly malted. The mouth feel was smooth mild and had a slight tingle to it. The flavor was malty with a slight "red" note.

This beer reminds me alot of Asahi. I don’t know if they meant for it to taste so dry, but even if they did, it’s just not very good. It’s very light colored for an amber, and is not worth the money

Not a bad beer by any means but it definitely isn’t my favorite. It doesn’t taste like a light beer but I guess it is. I wouldn’t buy this again however because leinies has much better beers to offer.

If I’m going to drink any light beer (which almost never happens), it’ll be this one. Ours was given as a gift. For a light beer, it’s pretty good, but can’t hold a candle to many others. I’m not a huge Leinienkugel’s fan, but I actually don’t mind this beer.

God, this beer pissed me off. I found it left in a fridge over break, and expected it to be okay. Well, it smelled and tasted like half rotten peas- the baby food kind. Couldn't even finish this crap. Unlike others, I won't even compare it to Bud, etc. I hope it was a bad bottle.
