Unfortunately, like the blue "light" version, this version is not as easy to find as say the original, red or Honey Weiss. In fact, I can only find this at one grocery store in my town. Good tasting light beer. I’d say the only better light beers out there are the Sam Adams and Amstel Lights. Beerlover1982 (78), Lacrosse, Wisconsin, USA

Similar to Amstel light, in that it is a lighter beer with flavor. This beer has a well balanced taste and dies not sacrafice flavor. It goes down smooth and is very drinkable. scooterbub (380), Lander, Wyoming, USA

Pours a nice, cloudy, light brown with a persistent, thin, foamy, white head. Taste is of caramel, fruit, grass, citrus, yeast, apple and malt. Similar aroma. Very palatable. The body is rather thin, but that is forgiven since it is a light beer and is seven years old. Easy to drink, is rather refreshing and is a nice treat. Has held up nicely for being seven years old. For a pale lager it is rather dark and flavorful. I wish they still made it and a little dissapointed that they don’t. I might have to find another bottle and age it further. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 19, 2005 For a light beer, this is really impressive stuff. Pours a deep amber, no pisswater yellow here. Nice malty nose, a bit thin, but a bit peaty, some caramel, light hops. Actual real maltiness in flavor, caramel and some peat, actual depth and earthiness. Palate is actually somewhat rich, a mite too fizzy, but still understated for a light beer. I would drink this one again, an extreme rarity for light beers. Jedsbrew (465), Rhineland, Missouri, USA

I think they did a pretty good job on this one, and it might even be a big seller if they would can it and lower the price to compete with some of the mega light beers out there. But until then, I'll stick with my Old Milwaukee Light. JPDIPSO (4911), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA

If anything there is dextrose NOT rice in this. Light hop nose. A hint of malt that makes you want more. Thirst quenching, but not quite truly satisfying.
