Commercial Description:
The leaves - at the height of their color, but before the inevitable fall. And the apples - ripe for the picking, and the absolute peak of their flavor. It's this moment that you'll find captured in our new Leinenkugel's Apple Spice. We take the fresh, delicious taste of real apples - as crisp as the first bite off the tree - and add just a touch of cinnamon for a hint of spice. The result is a mouthwatering blend that's perfect for sharing with friends. It's flavor to the core. We use over 2000 pounds of apples in every brew.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated golden brown colored body. The strong aroma was of green apples. The crisp and clean mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of green apple. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

Good beer for listening to a football game in the fall, I like it to get a general Fallsy feeling. Won’t knock your socks off, but you can drink alot of these in one sitting and feel good about it.

Pours a very light golden color, with a decent white head. Nice lacing. Smells like a green apple jolly rancher with spices added. Nice mixture of fresh apples with a very subtle spiceyness to it. Very easy drinking, with no lingering aftertaste, just the slightest hint of an apple left in the mouth. Very refreshing summer beer.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of Bockyhorsey - Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a one finger thick white head. Light lacing. The aroma smells like apple sauce with a touch of cinnamon. Flavor is sweet apple. Light body. No unpleasant aftertaste. A pleasant suprise. Thanks Bill and Wendy.

Poured a slight auburn, almost clear light red with no real head on the pour. A very strong aroma of apple juice and cinnamon. Taste of apple juice and cinnamon, no real beer flavor in this at all. Tastes pretty much like a really smooth alcoholic apple juice. Leinenkugels have a knack for taking fruit beer way too far with the fruit and making them something completely different. Might not be too bad if it were mulled though.

What a waste of apples. I hope they save the seeds and plant more apple trees otherwise this is just raping the planet of its resources. Then again what would you expect in the GWB Jr legacy. The beer is a bad artificial example of a cider clone. Re-rate: Ok not that bad. A nice apple juice aroma. Mild cinnamon and nutmeg aroma and taste. Taste is a little sweet but is very much about the apples.

The apples in this beer are good. However, I think they added to much of a cinnamon kick to it, and to many spices. It takes away from the refreshing taste and leaves a strange aftertaste in your mouth. Not a horrible fruit beer
