Slightly pink pour which is... strange. There is a mixed berry fruit aroma and flavor, but this mostly feels tacked on as if a syrup was added later on. Fun to a non-beer drinker, but little to offer otherwise.

Appearance: Pours out a clearish, pinkish-orangey body with a thinnish, white head. Smell: Fruity Pebbles on the nose. Taste: Sugary sweet berry blend, baby! A dash of Snapple, Kool-Aid, a packet of artificial sweetener, and booze. No hops or bitterness. You’ll find more IBU’s in the angry glare I’m giving this thing. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: This one just isn’t for me. Has more in common with those malternative beverages and, if that’s your bag, then maybe you’ll be damn pleased to pound down a Berry Weiss.

12oz bottle from Publix Supermarkets (Tampa, FL). Pours a pink raspberry color with a thin off-white and slightly pink head. Little retention or glass lacing. Aroma is decidedly fresh berries with notes of honey and spice. Flavor is sweet and syrupy with decidedly raspberry, candy sugar, and fresh ripe fruit notes. Generally light body with a sticky sweet mouthfeel.

The beer pours with a slightly pink head. Pinkish amber in coloration, light lacing along the edges of the glass. The smell is of berry and light fruits. The taste is fairly smooth, though the palate is a bit watery. The berry flavor is overwhelming and sticky, but appropriate for this type of beer. The end has a hint of bitterness. Its a beer you would give to someone who doesnt like beer.

Nice try. Aroma is candy and berries, but with a definite emphasis on the candy. Flavor is sweet and sticky, way too much candy everywhere. Syrup. A good session brew (like most Leinenkugels) but not anything to get too excited over. After 1 or 2, the mouth just gets too sticky.

Pours a pinkish copper color with thin head and some lacing. Aroma is very fruity, as is taste which also contains some subtle wheat flavors. A crisp, drinkable beer that is best served ice cold.

Bottle. Pours a purplish red in color with a white, rapidly fading head. The aroma is pure sweet berries. The flavor is very fruity, obviously, and somewhat of a dry wheat bite. It is light in body and very drinkable.

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. It had a strong berry and wheat aroma with a bit of yeast too. A cloudy, faded pinkish-red color with a thin, short-lived white head. It’s taste is very sweet with a strong berry component, and is strongly fruity. A very wet beer with a thinner body and low carbonation; drier at the finish. It’s an acceptable beer, but not anywhere near the top of its style.
