Sample handed out at Bar Louie (Tampa, FL) by the Leinenkugel ladies. Had a reddish/pink hue with a white head. Aroma smelled like a mixed berry Kool-Aid. Taste was pretty sweet with a faint hint of wheat, but definitely overpowered by the berries. I think this one is targted for the non beer drinkers that drink the various wine coolers and flavored malt beverages. Glad I got to try it for free because I wouldn’t buy this one.

Bottle. Very hazy, red-purple beer. White head. Aroma is pretty nice. Very sweet and loaded with berries. Blackberry and some soft juicy fruitiness. Flavour is also very juicy and fruity. There is a bit of wheat in the background. I can’t say that this tastes bad, but it certainly doesn’t taste like beer. Like a wine cooler.

12oz twist-off bottle. Pours pinkish-orange. topped with a pink / white fizzy head. Aroma is of cheap overly sweetened raspberry iced tea. Flavor is all sweetness. It tastes like fruit flavored syrup. mostly fruit, no malt. beer? Not much of anything beer in this bottle at all. Finishes with some strawberries, watermelon, and some blackberries. Overall, I can say I’ve had it, wouldn’t buy it, and the kiddies will love this.

THOUGHTS: Unusual looking, but tasted pretty good. It’s not the best tasting beer, but it is a nice refreshing beverage. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy, pinkish purple with an average-sized, pinkish head that mostly diminished and left good lacing. The aroma was mostly blackberry, but other fruits as well with just a touch of wheat and a little honey. The initial flavor was lightly to moderately sweet and lightly acidic; while the finish was moderately to heavily sweet and acidic and sour with an average duration. The flavor was a lot of beery flavors with some honey sweetness toward the end. There were sweet berries up front and tart sourness in the back. I didn’t really notice any wheat. The light to medium body was dry with fizzy carbonation and a light to moderate astringent finish.

cant drink much of this...i give it props for getting women to drink beer.... but beer should not be pink.....and should not make you say, "I can only drink one of these or = bad news."

12 oz from variety pack. Either you love this or hate, hence my middle of the road rating. Taste like a child of a beef and berry wine cooler. Great cold and sitting on the deck beside the pool. I liked it and will drink again.

Aroma – Over fruit syrup coming out.
Appearance – Reddish Fruit color, hazy and very light head.
Flavor – Super syrup fruit flavor for this beer. Just plain bad.
Palate – Nasty Mouthfeel, Syrup texture with a fruity finish.
Overall – This was nasty. Yes it was a fruit beer but I have had good stuff this was plain bad bad bad.

12 oz. brown bottle. Mostly clear with red/orange color and rocky moderate white head. Aroma of berrys with some grainyness. Raspberry like flavor with a fair amount of malt/honey sweetness. Finish is sweet with some lingering fruityness.
