May 6, 2008 Bottle: Pours a pinkish soda like color. Very strong berry aroma and taste. This isn’t even close to beer. I liked the Leinie Summer Shandy but this is just wrong. Too sweet.

May 5, 2008 Not any less drinkable than the other stuff they make, but I am just pissed off that they pass this stuff of as god damn beer. Yah, in the same way that Smirnoff Ice is. Pours with a rocky pink head. Slightly hazy purple body. Artificial berry aroma and taste (tastes like Crystal Geyser fruit juice). Really a poor excuse for a beer, lazy brewers.

May 3, 2008 12 ounce single purchased from a Chevron Mini Mart in North Davis, CA. Smells like toast and raspberry/strawberry jam. Acidic and tart. Blegh. Lightly hazy pinkish-amber body with a medium light pink head. Scant lacing. Oh fuck this is vile. Sweet strawberry flavor. Nothing else. Horrifically cloying. What the fuck is this shit? It’s fucking fruit juice masquerading as "beer". Awful.

May 2, 2008 Watermelon colored with a single-finger pinkish white head and healthy lacing. Aroma is indeed berry with a bit of dog. Taste is also heavily sweet berry with a hint of grain in the finish. Not bad for what it is, but beer it isn’t.

May 1, 2008 This has a cute, girly, rose color - it looks like it could be a soda or a wine cooler. The head is decent-sized and fizzy. Very floral, fruity scent, almost like cheap perfume. This has to be a girl’s beer. The appearance is not deceiving - this is more like a fruit flavored malt brew than a juiced-up weiss. The wheat and hops are hard to discern beneath the dominant soda pop flavor. I like Leinie’s Sunset Wheat, but I won’t be getting any more of this stuff.

Apr 30, 2008 I tried this beer as part of a make your own six pack at a local store, and i was shocked when i tasted it. it didnt even taste like beer, i rated it highly because i was impressed with it, but its too sweet and powerful for me to drink regularly. 12 ounce bottle

Apr 28, 2008 pours a pinkish purple with a small, quickly diminishing pink head. aroma of cherry 7-up. flavor has lots of sweet berry flavor with a touch of tart in the finish. finish almost becomes medicinal. one was drinkable, but any more would be too much of this.
