Aroma of berries is thick as soon as cracked open, closer sniff is more pronounced. Hits the mouth with sweet and sour berries, extremely thin body, finish does collapse however. Why is everyone drinking HATERADE to this beer, it’s supposed to be fun? On draft is much more drinkable, and making honey bears (2 leinie honeys plus one berry) always gets the party started. Too sweet and fruity for my tastes, but I can understand how some would like it. scoobysnak (249), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA

Hard acts to follow and this definately didn’t do well. Not bad but it just doesn’t do it for me. Add some carbonation and I think it would be improved. SavageElvis (134), Savage, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 1, 2007 Hazy light plum in color with a sweet raspberry aroma. Taste is very sweet and flavorful. Almost like soda. For me this is a once in a while brew for desert. rachmeister (6), Iowa City, Iowa, USA does not count | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 27, 2007 Not the best beer I’ve ever had - the color was slightly disconcerting at first, being a reddish-purplish, and the palate was not fizzy at all (but it was on tap at Summerfest in Milwaukee). It was too thick for me to enjoy too much. tjpasley79 (29), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

I am not big on sweeter beers, but looking for a change of pace, and I found it here. Similar to Apple with head and appearance, nice taste, and not a terrible, syrupy aftertaste. Again, not big on sweet beers so there is some bias here, but overall, this is pretty good for a slight change. biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 25, 2007 Poured a color that was attractive and reminiscent of pink grapefruit juice or pink lemonade only a little darker. Upon opening of the bottle, your nose is overwhelmed by the smell of berries. The aroma to me was very much like wine. The taste was also of berries, a balanced convergence of sweet and tart flavors. The mouthfeel was very pleasant and nicely carbonated. I thought this was very refreshing. I could not session it, but its a nice refresher.

Flavor heavily of berry juice . Kind of intense but, not overly so. Good mouthfeel. I thought this was an easy drinking beer. Evidently, I liked this beer more than most.
