Very strong citrus smells (of course), with notes of mellow malt. Overwhelming flavor of berries. Perfumey. Maybe better very, very cold on a very hot day. cheapdark (2037), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

Once open smells like sweet berries. Has a berry orange red color when it pours with a cloudy hue. Of the three fruit beers I’ve tasted tonight; harbor blueberry, oxford raspberry and this, it is the best by far. Sweet but not sickening sweet, however it does seem like the honey and berry flavors were added after brewing. Comes across something like a wine cooler or cheap champagne. Finish lingers sweet. Not as good as lancaster strawberry wheat. missing (72), Wichita, Kansas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2006 Not at all what I expected. Smooth with a slight bite from the berry flavor. What berries they are I am not sure but it is nice. The head is thin and disappears quickly with a strong aroma of fruit. Refreshing. I like it. I am not sure I would go out of my way to buy more but I like it. bergface (57), madison, Alabama, USA

Id probably go for something of a tweener. Its decent stuff and drinkable, but not very complex. iamsancho16 (99), USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Not a bad drink. Not at all like any beers I have had but none the less, it was a resfreshing drink. Having more than one in the same night is not a good idea however, too sweet. x111981 (3), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Nov 11, 2006 The best beer ever. I buy it by the six pack, twelve pack, twenty four pack, and by the half barrel. I go through about a half barrel a month in the summer. I am taking a break from it right now though, because I drank too much of it this summer. My brother and I think that they made it a year round brew for the first time this year, because we drank so much of it. Come spring though I will be ready for the all summer long Berry Weiss slosh party. joefflin (66), USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 7, 2006 I think the color is beautiful. Definitely nice too look at. Too bad it doesnt taste quite as good as it looks. The aroma is of raspberries and strawberries, and any other berry you can think of. Ver overpowering, and not as easy on the nose as Sunset Wheat (which is superior). As said before, the aftertaste is kind of harsh with an overload of berries. Like eating Captain Crunch and saving all the berries for the end, doesnt balance well. All in all, i think it would make for a great beer to go with a fruity pie or strawberries and whipped cream. Wine coolerish. Maybe drink one or two if you have the opportunity. I may have to re-rate since I havent had one in quite some time.
