Very fruity and sweet with a lot of carbonation. This is hard to classify as a beer. Someone else mentioned that was more like a wine cooler and I agree. Nothing I would try again. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/20 | Jul 25, 2006 Poured a reddish hue with weak head and no lacing. Pleasant blackberry jelly aroma. Light bodied, mostly berries in the flavor with a tangy tart note keeping it from being overly sweet. Drinkable and I was tempted to throw a couple ice cubes in there with it. Doesn’t taste much like beer though, which loses points with me. beerbill (1982), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 23, 2006 12 oz. bottle. Pours a raspberry color with a moderate, pale pink head that actually lasted through most of the glass. The aroma was definitely berry. The flavor was all about the berries. Definitely on the sweet side, but also some tartness from the berries. This reminded me more of a raspberry iced tea than a beer. There was no noticeable malt or hops flavor present. I think most beer purists would dislike this brew as it doesn’t taste like beer at all. If, on the other hand, you enjoy berries (which I do), this beer will be more appealing. thegreenrooster (1848), St.louis, Missouri, USA

Flavor is super sweet berry with a mix of syurp. Not really a beer and not for me. Too sweet and cloying. SGTHibbert (100), Perry, Iowa, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 19, 2006 Light dough/Bread with a hint of citrus, nose is of grapes, rasberry and alcohol. Head not impressive however body was pretty, interesting orange red color. Over all flavor was sweet, slightly acidic. Dry texture. Very lively with a light alcohol feel. Not bad for a fruit beer and would enjoy again. Great for a hot Iowa summer with a slice of lemon. chimpscampee (566), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 3, 2006 The 12 ounce bottle poured a slightly hazy pinkish amber beverage with a medium sized pink frothy head that was mostly diminishing and left good lacing on the glass. The aroma was primarily dominated by sweet loganberries. There were subtle notes of wheat malt and bread as well. The body was medium-light with soft carbonation and a slightly syrupy texture. The flavor starts off very sweet, like drinking a raspberry soda. The finish is medium in length and the sweetness, although it subsides, is still quite pronounced through the finish.
