Leinenkugels Berry Weiss

The best beer ever. I buy it by the six pack, twelve pack, twenty four pack, and by the half barrel. I go through about a half barrel a month in the summer. I am taking a break from it right now though, because I drank too much of it this summer. My brother and I think that they made it a year round brew for the first time this year, because we drank so much of it. Come spring though I will be ready for the all summer long Berry Weiss slosh party.

I personally like this beer. I think it’s better when you make it into a Honey Bear (50% Berry Weiss/50% Honey Weiss). However, the main reason I give this beer this high a score is due to the fact whenever I’m making a beer run ALL the ladies always request THIS beer. medium sweetness, light body, fizzy, long finish, red, clear Unlike most fruit beers, which are more juice and/or sugar than beer and overwhelm the beer’s flavor, Berry Weiss has a nice light fruit after taste.

After 7 years and two ranks later, I have found it all over the East Coast. Thank you Jacob for this Year Round Treat!

A true sign of spring in Northern Wisconsin. Berry Weis is a tasty alternative and non beer drinkers love it too.
