Maybe i should try it someday when i haven’t been drinking phenominal beers. i dunno...this ratings tainted. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 23, 2008 (Bottle) Pours a very dark brown color with a moderately sized tan head. Dusty aroma of cocoa and dark toffee. Taste is somewhat muted, but includes some burnt caramel. Average palate and carbonation. This is a very drinkable beer, and really is not that bad. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 21, 2008 A very "ok" offering from Leinenkugel. Thin beer, no lacing, thin frothy head. Alcohol isn’t overpowering in the least, which is good. Brown and muddly color. Flavor is on the dull side, with some hint of carmel and malt, with mapel on the backend. The hops are there, just hidden very well. Smooth and easy. Not terrible, not a top 50, but one I’d have before an AmberBock or something of that nature. SHANER4 (377), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 21, 2008 Poured a reddish brown color with small head. Taste is sweet like a jolly rancher and has a thin mouthfeel like most leine’s beers. This beer tastes rather week for a bock beer. Drinkable beer but nothing to write home about. topherh (927), Kearney, Missouri, USA

Taste is really unremarkable. Malty and somewhat sweet but nothing to write home about. I am a follower of Leinenkugel but this is definately nothing special.
