| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 22, 2009 Orange pour with small head, and carbonation. Caramel in the aroma with some hops, flavor is more hops with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Not too bad for the style. WisconsinBeer (531), St Paul, Minnesota, USA

Picked up a 6 of this for late night consumption, when you feel like another beer or two but can’t handle anymore Imperial Stouts or IPA’s. On that front it doesn’t disappoint as a light style lager with a decent amount of flavor. Pours a bright clear orange color with a minimal head, carbonation bubbles lingering. Flavor is very smooth with a wallop of caramel front and center, somewhat chewy and sweet. Just a hint of bittering hop bite towards the finish. This is pretty damn good, notwithstanding the "Leinenkugels" and "Amber" printed on the front. hubcrawler (37), , Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 16, 2009 Fills the lager glass with a pale copper color and a frothy white head- which dissipates rather quickly. There are notes of wheat bread and malt. The taste is rather dry and lacking in depth. The palate is on the thin side. As I have been drinking this beer it has grown on me some, but would soon be tossed aside for one of better quality. llcooldave (337), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | May 16, 2009 This was an an unexpected surprise... clear light copper in color. Smokey malt & fresh corn tortillas in the aroma. Flavor was roasted malt with a touch of caramel in the aftertaste. Overall, this was really good. much better and complex than expected... Probably would be good with tex mex food. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA

Very malty, but a fake kind of malty - like Wint-O-Green, but for malts. While I am a fan of Leinenkugels - due to price related reasons - I can’t say I admire their beer making abilities. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | May 14, 2009 This IMHO, is one of those beers that comes your way and you say "OK, I will give this a try" and you try it, and you say "Ewww, what did you give me!?!" I honestly feel like this is the worst beers in the Leinenkugel arsenal. If they never brought this out again, it would be just fine with me! jjuf1853 (480), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA
