Commercial Description:
A 100 percent malted lager, “Leinie’s Classic” features Leinenkugel’s own unique blend of two-row and six-row malts and four varieties of hops. A blend of Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts offer a complex flavor, with four different hops (Cluster, Cascade, Mt. Hood, and Hallertau) to balance the malts. Acknowledging their German heritage, Leinenkugel’s brewed Classic Amber in Reinheitsgebot tradition, where the only ingredients permitted are malts, water, hops, and yeast.

12 ounce bottle from Farm Fresh in Virginia Beach, VA. Can’t remember which location. Pours a clear copper color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is nutty with grainy malts. Taste is sweet, grainy malts with some caramel and nutty notes and a metallic finish. Thin-medium bodied.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Lame selection from Leinie. Like Miller Lite but a tiny bit more malt and hops. Disappointed by one of my favorite old names.

Amber color and pours with a decent off-white head. Little to no lacing. Aroma is grassy, grainy, and malty. Flavor is sweet corn, malty, and hay. This isn’t very good but not undrinkable either. Would be a decent transition beer from swill lagers.

About what you’d expect. Drinkable. Some decent malt. Not a great aftertaste. So-so.

This is a Vienna lager..not ’Premium’ and it’s much better than some of the reviewes here are giving it credit for. Nice color, bready malt flavor, decent hop presence. and It’s far more affordable than a lot of over-hyped and over-priced craft brews out there. give it a chance.

Bottle poured with a slight darkish yellow to orange amber color. White to dirty white head. Aroma was faint malts with a thin body and palate. Not much flavor but some slight off bitterness. Not much to write about.

Clear lighter amber pour with off-white head. Nose of caramel and some fruit. Flavor is sweet with a touch of roast with hints of oranges. Medium body with sweet malty finish.

12 oz. bottle. Poured to a shaker with a clear, orange/amber hue, an average, off white foamy head that diminished rather quickly, and some spotty lacing. The aroma was some bready malt, caramel, and a little fruit sweetness. The flavor was similar with some graininess and a moderate hop bitterness. Medium - body. Okay and drinkable. Was initially psyched by the disclosed hop bill but was somewhat let down at the finish.
