| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 16, 2009 Bottled sample. Clear orange in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are dunkel-like with notes of toffee and minerals. Flavor wise, it’s bready-malt forward, along with a hint of citrus. Dires out fairly well with a mineral, iron-like finish. A bit short and uncomplicated, but overall this isn’t all that bad. The dryness and the citrus were a nice surprise. italianjohn (360), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 13, 2009 This beer has a good aroma, nice appearance, pleasant mouth feel, a mild bitterness, and is fairly flavorful. My overall impression of it is very positive. It is similar to many other mass-produced amber beers. Jsawyer (286), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 11, 2009 Bottle. Pours translucent amber with moderate off-white head that quickly subsided. Aroma mellifluous caramel malt, grain, hint of chocolate, pear, fresh apples, herbal hop note. Flavor was lightly sweet grain, subdued malt, hint of chocolate and caramel, apples and an inference of cinnamon, and herbal zesty hops combined with an effervescent carbonation at the end. Palate is generally medium bodied and smooth but finishes with a carbonated bite. Nothing special, I’d rather have a Brooklyn. BeerGuyTWMore (48), USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2009 Sampled on draft at Johnny’s Wife’s Place in Jeannette PA this beer poured dark orange-caramel color with a small tan head that faded quickly. The aroma was very faint nutty malts and fruity hops. The flavor was bitter, tart and tangy with notes of caramel, biscuit and fruity hops. The middle turned dryish with a yeasty, chewy undertone. The finish was long, tangy and dry with notes of caramel and fruit. Subtle yet surprisingly complex, I found myself liking this one more than I thought I would. Eminently quaffable. esjaygee (1519), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 8, 2009 Crystal clear light amber with an overactive large white head that dissipates quickly leaving minor lacing. Aroma of grains, pale malt, mild caramel and minor adjuncts. Taste is caramel up front and caramel on the back end with the mildest of bitter finishes. I see they mention four hops in the description, whoo-hoo, quadruple hops, lol. They don’t really come through at all, except perhaps with that moderate bitterness, must be mostly cluster hops. I like that Leinie is attempting to make craft beer, but it’s nothing more than Miller’s version of Michelob – if that. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
