Clear, medium brown/tan/orange, good label. Drinkable, crackery, some fruit notes. A tad tangy and not aggressively hopped. Session weight, tannic finish. Winn Dixie.

Surprising hops in the flavor. A bit of citrus, orange, full malts, and biscuit. Bubbly mouth that works for this one. Great? No. Surprisingly enjoyable? Yes. brenn79 (189), Idaho, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 28, 2009 12 oz. bottle- Pours amber with a decent head and lacing, aroma is horrible, it smells like a cheap american lager. The flavor isn’t much better, some roasted malt but lacks depth and flavor, a poor attempt at making an already boring style of beer. ilovedarkbeer (1365), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 25, 2009 Wow this is garbage. Pours an amber color. With a medium sized head that rapidly shrinks. Notes of burnt toast, corn husks, cereal, and a little bit of metal. Forgettable beer with offensive astringent finish. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 5, 2009 [Bottle] Pours a light amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of grains and sweet caramel malts. Crisp and sweet taste includes mostly malt but also some light hopping towards the finish. A little thin, but overall not a bad beer. bsp77 (202), Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 30, 2009 Poured into 4oz sample glass, but I asked for a second pour to make a more proper 8oz review. Plus I was not sampling other beers, so no sample fatigue. Thanks Applebee’s!
Very light amber with nice head and slight lacing.
Somewhat sweet aroma with notes of caramel and toasted malts.
Biscuit and caramel malts balanced by citrusy hops, with light bitterness at the finish. Nice balance overall.
Moderate carbonation with a light to medium body. Finishes slightly dry.
This would be a very respectable everyday lager. Perhaps the best Leinie’s I have had.
