The aroma is some what light, but there are some caramelized malts. The flavor is not as sweet and caramel as I had hoped. Rather it is pretty high in carbonation, and thin bodied. The beer as a whole is more bitter than a I thought it should be. Nothing special here.

Nice amber color as promised, nice creamy head that stays to the bottom of the glass. All kinds of hops aroma in the nose - orange, grass, spice - with a nice balance of malt as well. Noble hops dominate the sense of smell here.
Nice body, maybe a tad too heavy, but still good. Very good malt flavor, with hints of baked bread, raisins, and caramel. Really good hop flavor, perhaps a bit too citrusy. While Noble hops come through in the aroma, it is clearly Cascade hops that take over the hop flavor.
Overall is somewhat similar in taste to Sam Adams. By all means, this is a very good effort, and if you like Sam Adams Boston Lager, or Brooklyn Lager, by all means, give this one a try! robforbes (1114), Bremerton, Washington, USA
