A good Dunkel, though I must admit, I do not think I have had many. Comparable to Guinness, not as good but also not as strong.

Dark with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malts. Roasted malt with a bit of chocolate in the flavor. Not sure that I would describe it as creamy. Not bad for a miller product.

Thanks west coast connection. Sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours dark with a light tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and slight chocolate. The flavor is roast, mildly bitter, and slight chocolate. Good beer.

I suppose this style is close to a stout or porter. This is actually pretty darn good. It won’t put Guiness out of business but it was smooth, creamy and pretty flavorfull. If you like dark beers with low hops (which I do) this will go down easy. I may have to change my opinion of this brand now that I have tried two I really like.

Bottle 50F Lager. Nice sweet smelling malts, hops are not present. Pours a dark red color, with a light head that laces nicely. Good thick creamy taste, a bit light on the roasts though. Fairly easy to drink, not bad for a macro.

Pours dark with a rich, beige head. Aroma of toast, caramel and toffee. Full bodied. Flavors of molasses and caramel; really too sweet for my taste. Not for me I’m afraid.

It pours like the perfect beer. A small but appreciated light head and a dark thick body.

Very nice creamy beer. Especially nice considering that Leinenkugel’s are usually a bit mild. It’s hard to ruin a creamy dark though. Thick, nice head, great aroma / flavor. Finishes as good as it starts.
