Pours dark with a rich, beige head. Aroma of toast, caramel and toffee. Full bodied. Flavors of molasses and caramel; really too sweet for my taste. Not for me I’m afraid.

It pours like the perfect beer. A small but appreciated light head and a dark thick body.

Very nice creamy beer. Especially nice considering that Leinenkugel’s are usually a bit mild. It’s hard to ruin a creamy dark though. Thick, nice head, great aroma / flavor. Finishes as good as it starts.

Excellent beer. Smooth body, with a slight chocolate undertone. Not really creamy, but overall a good find.

Bottle sampled with beerded_one pours dark with a decent sized beige head. Aroma of sweet malts, roast, and slight chocolate. The flavor is sweet, roast, chocolate, thin, slight bitter hops present. ok brew.

Dark pour, ok head. Light on aroma and taste. A little sour maybe, but not in a bad way. Not memorable.

just realized I didnt rate this. Im a sucker for black lagers, and well, hedonicaly this left a lot to be desired. It has some thin roasted notes, and a light breadyness.

6 12 oz bottles. I was expecting a stout, but this is an American Dark Lager. Excellent as a lager, I would say.
