One of the better Leinenkugel products that I’ve had. Decent roasted malt flavors all around. Nice dark brown color, decent head. A little bit watery, but still decent and drinkable.

Bottle: Aroma is a roasty chocolate with a little sourness mixed in. Pours a dark brown with red hilights when held to the light. Small tan head fades rather quickly. Light chocolate up front with a cafe mocha finish and aftertaste. A little watery but not too bad.

Deep red. Great head, huge off-white puffiness, incredible lasting power. Lightly smoky and roasty nose. Flavor is sweet molasses, some milk chocolate and decent bitterness at the finish. Quite flavorful. Very nice session beer.

Metallic lagerish aroma with hints of smoked and roasted burnt woods. Slight sweet notes. Transparent mahogany color with a large fluffy light tan head. Start is somewhat sweet and floral turning a little roasty towards the end. Kind of thin and metallic, though. It’s ok.

bottle...clear brown pour with a frothy white head that lasts a little. Malty aroma, some chocolate, some roastiness. Kinda musty. Smooth, not necessarily creamy. Roasted malt is predominant, however that is pretty much all that is evident. Mildly sweet, not bitter, unimpressive.

12oz bottle, no BBD. Brown, nice head w/ lace. Malty aroma, chocolate malt. Very light body. Thin. Mild dark malt character. Smooth and maybe a bit creamy. But can’t hold a candle to Sprecher Black Bavarian. This one is just plain and boring, but not horrible.

This is a good beer when you go out to Applebees or you other places of the type. Not too bad for just chilling and grabing some grub.

appeared dark brown w/ a light tan head that frothed up quickly and dissapted quickly scent was very light of hops and malts the plalate was smooth and lightly carbonated but the creamy part was missing.the flavor was hinting of hopps and a little carmel and something else I couldn’t identify overall I’m from CF but have been dissapointed in lienies lately I swear everything is more watered down.
