Pours dark brown with thick creamy tan head. Nose is raisin and toffee. Coffee, apple, cherry flavors. Finish is almost nonexistent. Here’s the problem... it tastes like a lager that’s had stuff added to it. Not a fan.

Light bodied, but very dark dunkel. Only thing creamy about it was the head. taste is thin, nutty and harshly grainy at the finish.

This one at least sounded appetizing. Sampled from a 12 oz bottle the beer poured a thin black color with a small tan head. There was a sour skunky scent and an odor reminiscent of rotting vegetables. The flavor was dry malt, mild hops and a slightly skunky aftertaste. Pretty blah but barely drinkable.

Bottle - thanks to BadgerBen! Pours dark brown with orange and garnet highlights and a large foamy head that diminished quickly to a thin ring of bubbles. Aroma is malty, slightly nutty, molasses along with an odd metallic scent. Flavor is sweet, dark malts followed by a nice hop wave and lingering bitter finish. Medium body, mild carbonation. Not bad for a lager and a macro owned brew!

Had this in Green Bay. Pours deep amber with aroma of malt, toffee, and slight nuts. Tastes malty, with some nuts, malt, and slight toffee at the finish.

It smelled like a porter. The body was dark with a light head. The taste was as creamy as I was hoping. Not a very strong-tasting dark. It didn’t do too much for me.

Sour caramel malt aroma. Deep amber in color. Quickly dissipating head, some slight lacing. Sour caramel malt flavor with a touch of hops. This beer blows.

Bottle. Root beer colored with a small, quickly fading head. Not much aroma, standard American lager with a little roast maltiness. Thin mouthfeel, average carbonation. Flavor delivers what the aroma gives you. A hint of some coffee and hop flavors are in there, also. A little sweetness in the finish. Real easy to drink, and a nice break from normal macrolager, but I don’t think I would seek it out outside of the variety pack.
