Pours dark brown with a large, thick head. The aroma worried me - it was not very strong and somewhat metallic. The flavor redeemed this one, however. This is a very good, very reasonable beer. Flavors of chocolate, nuts, and smokiness. The flavor isn't overwhelmingly strong, just mellow and smooth. Too bad I can only get this in my area in a Leinie variety pack...

Not one of leinekugels best beers but it is still pretty good. Looks very dark, and has a nice head.

Very dark, very good. What else can you expect from a Leinenkugel beer but excellence. I would buy this again if it was on sale.

Pours fairly dark, with a small head (the picture above has never occured) decent carbonation. It's a good thing this is really cheap, otherwise the review wouldn't be so glowing. This is a very good beer to have with a steak. Better than most of this brewer's other beers.

very good value. this is one of the best purchases you can make for under 6 bucks. i highly recommend for the price. it has a slight chocolate aftertaste which is nice with meals. If other leinenkugel beers turn you off, don't be afraid to pick this one up. you will forget all about how you dislike honey weiss.ENJOY!

A good, cheap beer. Malty aroma, medium body. Lightly nutty flavor with some chocolatey taste thrown in. Very good, very cheap.

deep mahogony color with a nice thick tan head...nut, roasted malt, and chocolate aromas. medium body, very smooth with nice nutty finish but a little lacking in the middle flavors...good for a $5 six pack.

I loved this beer. A hint of chocolate in every drink....who doesn't like chocolate?
