Pours dark, but thin. Cola color with a weak head. Smooth and soft in the flavor. Little or no bitterness with just a touch of hops in the aftertaste.

It's dark, but not really very creamy. Very mild lightly roasted aroma. Body is thin and could definitely use some more sweetness. Decent hop balance, but just not what I expect in something called "Creamy Dark."

Creamy smooth palate. Rich malt profile. Not a bad pick over any of the macros for a very reasonable price.

Nothing special, but a quality brew. As many are articulating here, it's a good bang for the buck. Smooth, creamy and flavorful with a great look.

This is a decent beer for $4.50/6er. Fairly fresh, too. Smells like coffee, with a similar dark appearance. The taste is, ah, a little weak. If my dad buys this again next Thanksgiving, I'll drink it, but if I were to buy other Leinie's beers, I would go for the Northwood Lager or Big Butt Doppelbock (neither of which are anything near spectacular, just better than this).

Wow, i got my 6pack for 3.99 and it definitely competes with some of the pricier beers i've had. Nice dark color, equally dark chocolately flavor, mild carbonation. Good n' tasty.

I thought this beer was pretty good. It was also fairly cheap (5 buck a sixer). Dark pour, tan head. Decent maltiness and some hops. Chocolate and caramel. Good bang for the buck beer.
