Creamy, beige head that sticks to my glass. Nose of roasted malt. Light-bodied - almost watery - with distinct, lightly sweet accents of roasted malt and an almost coffeeish edge. Basically no bitterness. Rather smooth and lovely. For being a Miller affiliate Leinenkugel really produces some nice and goodlooking brews. 280306 kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Not much to this one. Maybe some roasted malts and nuts. Thinner body. CaptainCougar (5526), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 24, 2003 It's dark, but not really very creamy. Very mild lightly roasted aroma. Body is thin and could definitely use some more sweetness. Decent hop balance, but just not what I expect in something called "Creamy Dark." ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Thin, creamy, malty aroma, with a hint of pine-scented cleaner in there as well. Not a strong taste, but very carbonated, and a little watery, syrupy, but with a nice roasted, creamy flavor.
