(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a very beautiful, clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow. Creamy, beige head that sticks to my glass. Nose of roasted malt. Light-bodied - almost watery - with distinct, lightly sweet accents of roasted malt and an almost coffeeish edge. Basically no bitterness. Rather smooth and lovely. For being a Miller affiliate Leinenkugel really produces some nice and goodlooking brews. 280306

fine beige head, lots of spidery lace, picking up some good chocolate in the rich malt flavor, a touch of sweetness from a dark caramel character, good balance from the earthy bitterness

(12oz bottle, courtesy of Cavie) Pours a mahogany body with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, grass, and grain. Flavor of grassy hops, roasted malt, caramel, earth, and nuts with a dry finish.

On tap. Poured a dark reddish brown color with an averaged sized off white head. Not much to this one. Maybe some roasted malts and nuts. Thinner body.

It's dark, but not really very creamy. Very mild lightly roasted aroma. Body is thin and could definitely use some more sweetness. Decent hop balance, but just not what I expect in something called "Creamy Dark."

Deep brown, with a little light passing through the glass. Thin, creamy, malty aroma, with a hint of pine-scented cleaner in there as well. Not a strong taste, but very carbonated, and a little watery, syrupy, but with a nice roasted, creamy flavor.

near black color with a smaller beige head. Dark malt and sourdough aroma. Dark caramel flavors with a touch of fruit and weak coffee. Thin feel. A cross between a dunkle, porter and brown stout.

Bottle: Dark mahogany color with ruby highlights, small tan head and light lacing. The nose is roasty with light dry husk and dark caramel, mild molasses and thin coffee. The flavor is dry, lightly roasty with a thin and neutral finish. No hops, no sweetness, a tiny bit of dry roast and anise. Just a dark lager with a thin body.
