The aroma was very sweet with caramel, molasses, and maple syrup amplified by artificial sweetener.. OK. The flavor was just as expected with near-sickeningly sweet maple and caramel.. bitterness was dry and herbal.. picked up vanilla on the latter half with a cream soda feel.. the finish tasted like it had aspartame in it. Lighter-bodied and supa-sweet on the palate.. left a dry herbal impression on the finish. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear dark copper with a lacy off-white head. Aroma of nuts and vanilla. Maple, vanilla and nuts in the flavor. This is ain’t natural. The more I sip of this, the more I get the impression that somebody snuck some Mrs. Butterworth’s into my beer. twindadplus2 (417), Wisconsin, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 22, 2009 Clear ruby brown with a thin beige head. Aoma of malt and toffee with a whiff of hops. Flavor of light ly toasted malt, cereal grains, toffee, vanilla and an herbal hops astringence. The flavors are good but they seem a bit artificial and over the top. I can’t believe it’s all from the two-row malts. The palate also comes across as a bit watery but not bad overall. coyotehunter (557), , Michigan, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 21, 2009 Heavy maple and hazelnut. A bit more than is necessary to make a point. Kind of like biting into an acorn almost, without the bitter. Pours a brownish red with a thin head. Somewhat cloying in flavor with some notes of ash and smoke at the end. Pretty much what one can expect from this brewery. Bleh. TheOrange (417), Kent, Ohio, USA

The aroma is of sweet roasted malts. the flavor is true to the aroma. OVer all, an ok offering. I have better browns, but this is enjoyable.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 20, 2009 As with many Leinenkugel’s brews, this is chalked full of artifical sugary flavor. It tastes like a brown sugar drink. Still decent taste and look. Flavor sticks around a bit, but it’s not particularly good. orville (160), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jan 18, 2009 This is one of the worst beers (If you can call it a beer) I’ve ever had. Waaaaaay over the top with candy and sugar and a soda pop palate. This is beer for people who don’t like beer. GreatLibations (1454), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 17, 2009 Pours amber with a good head that lingers. Strong aromas of pralines and ice cream sugar cone. Light body with ample effers. Flavors of nuts, wafers, creamed coffee bean, and maple preside. The finish is bittered with a touch of acid.
