Commercial Description:
The new amber-toned brew features roasted malt character, with English two-row malts provide the beer with a maple aroma and pronounced chocolate, caramel and hazelnut top notes.

When I tried this and encountered the chocolate flavor, I said, my god, that’s artificial. And then I looked at the label and it says "natural flavors". Ok, they got me, but it just doesn’t taste as if its flavors were extracted from grains. It’s as if they poured maple syrup in it.

Its a hell of a name. Marketing worked in this one. Product was crap though. Pour a lighter brown color with a small beige head. aroma was malty, but that was all i could get from the aroma. Flavor was sort of sweet with a malt finish to it. very thin.

Poured a dark brown with a decent head and good carbonation. The aroma was roasty, malty, no hop. The flavor was caramely with roasty notes, the biggest downside to this beer is the palate which came across as light and watery. Not a bad beer, but there is just not much to it, only average for a brown ale.

Bottle. Taste is of nuts and chocolate. Very smooth, easy to drink. Very surprised, most Leinenkugels are unimpressive or downright awful. This was very enjoyable, unfortunately its hard to find.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small frothy white head. Not much on the nose but a light malt. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is a roasted almond with chocolate and a sweet caramel finish. A decent brown ale from Linenkugels.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear, light brown body. The aroma is nutty and sweet. The taste is surprisingly sweet like marshmallows.

big chocolate nut aroma’s ... pretty good head for a brown .. intresting flavours, thin but has a something to it, but does taste ... a good intro in craft beer but to lackluster for me... thanks Deanna..

Pours a dark amber and has a distinctive nutty caramel aroma - tastes of nuts, chocolate and something else that I cannot put my finger on - not bad but borders on an artificial taste since it is a little bid overdone. An okay beer but wouldn’t go out of my way for it.
