| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 10, 2009 Bottle pour, with almost no head. Deep, red brown, clear appearance, with fizzy carbonation. Nice aroma of soft roasted malt barley, a little cinnamon and dark sugars. Tastes of some darker roast nuts, sweet maples, and a nice caramel and hops finish. Nice mix of sweet and bitter. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 6, 2009 12 oz bottle. Aroma is nutty; also smell cinnamon, grain. Pours chestnut brown with minimal head, moderate lacing. Flavor isn’t as good as I remember it. Still, not bad. It’s quite nutty (thinking of Austin Powers) obviously; caramel, cinnamon notes. A little watery. Finishes nutty, faintly sour. ttutony (105), Texas, USA
