Commercial Description:
The new amber-toned brew features roasted malt character, with English two-row malts provide the beer with a maple aroma and pronounced chocolate, caramel and hazelnut top notes.

Poured a clear copper color with a small tan head. The aroma was nutty, with some roasted malts and a hint at citrus hops. The flavor was nuts and citrus. Thin body. Lots of carbonation. Pretty meh.

not the best ive ever had, like a macro trying to be a micro, no real taste or flavor that distinguishes it, not a great aftertaste, wont do it again.

A copper pour with a creamy off-white head. It has a sweet malt aroma with some subtle hops. It has a nutty flavor and thin mouthfeel. The finish is roasted, slightly bitter, and very dry.

12fl oz bottle poured into a dimpled mug. Golden brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, maple. Flavor is roasty, caramel, hazelnut, slight coffee, hint of chocolate. Medium-bodied, fizzy. Bittersweet finish. Decent brew.

Bottle pour, with almost no head. Deep, red brown, clear appearance, with fizzy carbonation. Nice aroma of soft roasted malt barley, a little cinnamon and dark sugars. Tastes of some darker roast nuts, sweet maples, and a nice caramel and hops finish. Nice mix of sweet and bitter. Palate was clean and warming. A nice brew for this time of year.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is nutty; also smell cinnamon, grain. Pours chestnut brown with minimal head, moderate lacing. Flavor isn’t as good as I remember it. Still, not bad. It’s quite nutty (thinking of Austin Powers) obviously; caramel, cinnamon notes. A little watery. Finishes nutty, faintly sour.

Medium brown in the glass. Pretty decent brown ale with nutty, roasted malt flavors.

Very strong brown ale flavor, with a warming sensation as it goes down. Definitely one of my favorite brown ales.
