Commercial Description:
The new amber-toned brew features roasted malt character, with English two-row malts provide the beer with a maple aroma and pronounced chocolate, caramel and hazelnut top notes.

Bottle. Pours red amber with a thin head. Malty sweet aroma with brown sugar, graham cracker and vanilla. The body is a bit thin. The flavor has hazelnut, vanilla, caramel and maple syrup. A bit on the artificially sweet side, but not that bad.

Bottle thanks to wife. Pours a clear dark amber, off white head. Aroma of nuts. Flavor , well,, taste like vanilla extract was added, I guess it could be considered a maple taste when blended with some toasted grain. Has a slightly odd aftertaste as well. Mouth feel is light body, very high carbonation, watery.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an auburn color with a large tan head. The aroma was sour, tangy and indistinct. The flavor was bitter, roasty and lightly fruity with a touch of caramel. The finish was bitter and tangy. The mouthfeel was somewhat thin. Eh.

Deep amber appearance with a medium size, off white head and modest lacing. Subdued, toasted malt aroma with maple and a trace of vanilla. Maple resurfaces in the taste , dominating the mild nuttiness and providing a sweetness that was a little over the top. Medium bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel with a lingering finish.

Sample at December 12, 2008 Beer Club meeting. Very clear!... well carbonated. Light brown color below a fastly-fizzing head. Nutty brown ale aroma, thin. Flavor is very nutty, very much of hazelnut. Thin, light body, almost watery. Slight metallic flavor. My tongue got numb after drinking this... started burning my throat, too. Strange.

A darker colored amber lager that pours with a 2 inch off-white head, but doesnt last long. The aroma is of a lot of raw sugar and some toffee. The flavor is like toffee, cream, nut candy. Doesnt really remind me of beer much. Finish is rich and carmel-like.

Average on every level...crystal clear hazelnut with a small walnut colored head. Aroma is of pecan, almond, and caramel. Flavor is sweet malt and chestnut...fairly thin palate makes this a sessionable brew. Drinkable, but not that good.

12oz Bottle – Gravity Beer Market – Olympia, WA- A decent nut brown ale with some nice flavors. I liked the malt and the nutty flavors. This was a easy drinking and repeat type beer.
