Oct 11, 2009 Bottle. Poured a darker brown color with a creamy head. Aroma was roasted malts, coffee, and caramel. Flavor was sweet malts, rich caramel flavor. Something was missing with is beer.

Oct 7, 2009 Pours a coppery brown with a white head. Aroma is toast and caramel malt. Flavor is light sweet malt, nuts, and a bit of chocolate. Light and kind of watery.

Sep 20, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent typically carbonated light brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of strange nutty and brown malt. It was rather off the mark at first then it got a little better with time. An OK brew just nothing special.

Sep 5, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear brown-orange color. the head was thin and off white with and orange-yellow tint. There wasn’t much in the way of aroma other than some vanilla, white paper and subdued milk chocolate. Light bodied and sweet. Tasted of distinct milk chocolate and buttery toffee. Very thin mouth feel. A diacetyl laced brown ale.

Aug 26, 2009 12oz bottle. Poured a medium and clear brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of toasted nuts, and caramel. Aromas of the subtle side and I really had to inhale to get anything. Tastes of nuts, caramel, and lightly toasty.

Aug 13, 2009 The aroma is like... well... beer. The flavor is big roasted malt, practically like chewing on the grains themselves with touches of chocolate, caramel, and nuts. Tasty indeed! I really enjoy this beer and hope they make it again next winter!

Jul 22, 2009 Sweeter than expected, but in a good way IMO. Tastes of toffee and nuts abound with an easy finish. Will drink again once the weather cools off.
