Commercial Description:
The new amber-toned brew features roasted malt character, with English two-row malts provide the beer with a maple aroma and pronounced chocolate, caramel and hazelnut top notes.

Sampled from a bottle at SL. Poured a full copper to light brown color with a nice tan colored head. The aroma was nuts, grass, faint brown malts (I guess it was chocolate?). The flavor followed along with some caramel and was quite nice in that it wasn’t sweet. Some off oxidized or DMS notes kept this from being quite good. But, I think they nailed the brew very well in that they didn’t let it get brown / malty sweet overloaded. That much, I appreciated! Mouthfeel was light and dry.

Bottle. Blech...very faint brown color, no head. Aroma is grainy. Taste at first is a regular light lager, then a weird artificial cinnamon / nutmeg flavor kicks in at the end. What is this? The "natural flavoring added" printed on the label adds to the mystery. This is no Nut Brown...

Bottle : Crystal clear deep amber hue with a lasting fizzy head. The aroma has notes of maple syrup, walnuts, caramel (good), wet grains and a bit of corn (bad). The taste is mildly sweet and nutty at first (good) before a strange acidity and medicinal quality shows up and ruins the party (bad). The mouth feel is lively but not aggressive (good), there is a metallic finish (bad). So as you can tell this is a beer that starts good and ends up not so much. Truly as run of mill as you can get in the genre and the ceiling is not too high with Brown Ales anyway.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Casper. Pours a clear amber/brown color with a medium white head. The aroma is light caramel and toasted malts. A smooth toasted flavor, nutty and simple. Pretty nice.

Poured a clear copper color with a small tan head. The aroma was nutty, with some roasted malts and a hint at citrus hops. The flavor was nuts and citrus. Thin body. Lots of carbonation. Pretty meh.

not the best ive ever had, like a macro trying to be a micro, no real taste or flavor that distinguishes it, not a great aftertaste, wont do it again.

A copper pour with a creamy off-white head. It has a sweet malt aroma with some subtle hops. It has a nutty flavor and thin mouthfeel. The finish is roasted, slightly bitter, and very dry.

12fl oz bottle poured into a dimpled mug. Golden brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, maple. Flavor is roasty, caramel, hazelnut, slight coffee, hint of chocolate. Medium-bodied, fizzy. Bittersweet finish. Decent brew.

Bottle pour, with almost no head. Deep, red brown, clear appearance, with fizzy carbonation. Nice aroma of soft roasted malt barley, a little cinnamon and dark sugars. Tastes of some darker roast nuts, sweet maples, and a nice caramel and hops finish. Nice mix of sweet and bitter. Palate was clean and warming. A nice brew for this time of year.
