This is new product the Chippewa Falls. The color is dark amber with a small head that disappeared. The beer had some sweetness and carmel flavors. It could use some more hops. A drinkable beer for most any event. The beer could have more head and lacing.

Jan 1, 2010 Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a lasting light amber head. Aromas of cocoa, carmel and hazelnut. Palate was light to medium bodied aqnd smooth. Flavors of coca, carmel and filberts with a smooth lingering nutty finish.

Dec 31, 2009 smells like coffee chaff. sweet & nutty. no head to speak of. tingly on the tongue.

Dec 30, 2009 Pours a dark to medium bodied amber with a thin bodied of white slight foamed head. Aromas of raspberries, light brown sugar, caramel, and light roasted malt. Light flavor of hazelnut, caramel, roasted malt, and some chocolate but not very notable. A light flavored beer with many flavors.

Dec 30, 2009 Dark amber/brownish with a thick tan head that leaves a little lacing. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy but still pretty thin. Taste is faint and of peanut butter.

Dec 29, 2009 On tap at the Grumpy Bulldog in Naperville, IL. and pint served with a clear, light brownish amber color, modest, white foam to the head, and non-lasting dots and dashes of lacing. The aroma was pleasant but light notes of toasty malt, caramel, nuts, and just a hint of sweetness. The flavor was similar, adding just a touch of roastiness and very light hop bitterness. The carbonation was fine, but the body was rather light and thin. Sessionable but underwhelming.

lct-lt-cpr, lasting-thin-wh-head, ^co2(too much for me), light-body.
aroma: bright, §roasted-malt and tanins on top of pilsner/adjunct base.
flavor: ^club-soda §pils T1, §fruity-pils §roasted-malt bit-o-honey(honey flavord taffy with almond bits in it, every time i drink this beer i swear i taste that candy in here about 10 seconds after swallowing) T2, §pils §roast §tanins T3.
i just don’t like beers with a watery body and tons of co2, especially when the taste says the profit margin is more important than flavor character. the only thing "brown" about this beer was the bottle. the best part of this beer were the couple of chclt-soda burps that came up after i emptied the glass.

Dec 24, 2009 (bottle into pint glass) Pours a pretty brown color, but with almost no head to speak of, and the little that was there fell quickly. Aroma was of grain and heavy on the caramel side. There was also a sweetness I couldn’t place, which might have been the maple they advertise. Mouthfeel is pleasant with a lively carbonation and creamy feel. Taste is sweet, but with a sharp end bite of spice and hops which negated the sweet aroma and beginning int he mouth. This isn’t terrible, but not sure if I would keep coming back to this one.
